No convincing needed – it’s healthy and satisfying, all at the same time!

“They” say curry is good for you. Not that it mattered…I’ve always eaten curry chicken and curry goat, with much enthusiasm – (mouth watering, hungry belly). However, now that “they” (those that conduct the studies and those that are in the know) say it’s more than just delicious, that it’s beneficial to your health, I’m extremely excited about using the spice when cooking.

According to a February 2008 study in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, turmeric, the yellow spice that gives curry powder its warm colour, is good for your health. “Research suggests spicing up your diet with this Indian spice to ward off chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, Alzheimer’s and cancer.”(SheKnows) It is also linked to heart health.

Hey, no need to convince me. If this “holy powder,” as it is known in India, has been used for centuries to treat wounds, infections and other health problems,I’m all for it! Curry anyone?
